In essence, a home energy assessment is a comprehensive evaluation of a home's energy efficiency, identifying areas where energy is being needlessly consumed. Depending on your home's eligibility, there are multiple tests that can be carried out. We specialize in two distinctive diagnostic assessments:

1. The Blower Door Test: This examination assesses the overall air leakage or infiltration in your entire house.
2. The Duct Blaster Test: This evaluation focuses on detecting leaks within your duct system.
3. Assess the attic insulation to identify any weaknesses and determine if you are eligible for free insulation through the program. 

It's important to note that the specific tests applicable to your home can only be determined upon our arrival.

For eligible Entergy customers, the energy audit comes at no charge. In over 10 years performing this service we have never charged anyone for work done through the program.  Feel free to reach out to us to confirm your eligibility.

The Public Service Commission has mandated electric companies where there is no competition put money back into the grid and there are federal rebates for reducing kWh (kilowatt hour) usage. 

This reduces strain on the entire power grid during the peak demand times, or the hottest days of the Summer. This prevents the electric company from having to turn on older, less efficient power plants or importing electricity from out of state which raises costs for everyone.

Utility incentive programs are directly tied to the availability of funding. To make the most of these incentives, it's advisable to take action and enroll in an energy assessment promptly. By doing so, you can capitalize on the existing incentives before they potentially expire due to funding constraints.

Absolutely, your distance from our office doesn't matter. We serve the entire Entergy coverage area in Arkansas. We may ask that you work with us on scheduling a day that is convenient for everyone but we want to help you and your home.

It depends on the age, size and complexity of your house. Average time is between 2-4 hours. 

Before your assessment, ensure that all rooms, including air vents, are accessible, as well as the heating and air unit(s). Provide full access to your attic and crawlspace. If you have pets, please secure them. Additionally, have your utility account number on hand for our auditors. This will help ensure a smooth assessment process.
